Carolina West Wireless Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Diamond Rio

Carolina West Wireless celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a live concert performance featuring country music recording artist Diamond Rio Saturday night.
The public celebration was free for customers and held at the Doc and Merle Watson Stage on the campus of Wilkes Community College and concluded with a fireworks display after the show.
Diamond Rio took the stage at 8:00 PM performing to a crowd of over 5,000 for 75 minutes, entertaining fans with a set list that included a mix of their most famous hits and recent material.
A four time winner of the Country Music Association’s (CMA) “Group of the Year” award, Diamond Rio has earned two “Top Vocal Group” awards from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and 13 Grammy Award nominations featuring Number One hits like “Meet in the Middle,” “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess,” and “I Believe.”
“We couldn’t be more excited with how the night turned out,” said Casey Clement, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Carolina West Wireless. “Twenty years of service is a remarkable achievement in and of itself, but in planning this event, we wanted to do something more than just commemorate our 20th Anniversary.
“We wanted to show our appreciation and gratitude of everyone who’s helped us to accomplish so much over the past 20 years and what better way than a free concert.
