Carolina West Wireless continues community involvement through donor program
February 02, 2010
Carolina West Wireless (CWW), a North Carolina wireless company, is offering a month’s worth of free messaging for existing customers or free activation of any new line of service throughout the month of February for customers who’ve made a blood donation in the last 60 days.
Customers must present a donor card at the initial point of sale at any CWW location to be eligible.
The promotion was initiated to raise awareness about blood donor programs and to reinforce Carolina West Wireless commitment to the local communities it serves.
“It’s just one more way we can get involved within our communities and encourage our employees and our customers to give back,” said Casey Clement, Director of Sales for Carolina West Wireless. “It’s important we realize that it takes each one of us, collectively and as individuals, to do our part to help whether under tragic circumstances like we’re seeing now in Haiti or by helping someone locally.
“Too often we see images of horrific events like the Haitian people are faced with and we become inspired to help by sending our monetary assistance and material supplies and that’s admirable, but one of the most important and vital gifts we can give in my opinion is the gift of blood.”
Carolina West Wireless was formed in 1991 and is owned by a partnership consisting of Skyline Telephone, Surry Telephone and Wilkes Telephone. Headquartered in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, CWW provides its customers with innovative technology including data and mobile services, the latest wireless equipment and competitive wireless plans that provide nationwide coverage.
